Moland Congregation

Vor Frelsors (Our Savior's)

1873-1884

The Synod of the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (Norwegian Synod)

1884-1891

Anti-Missouri Brotherhood

In 1891 the Anti-Missouri Brotherhood and Norwegian-Danish Conference merged.  Moland and Vor Frelsor's became members of the same synod.  This led to the merger of the two congregations to form Concordia.

CONCORDIA LUTHERAN CHURCH

1891-1917

The United Norwegian Lutheran Church in America (Forenede)

1917-1946

The Norwegian Lutheran Church of America.  Created by a merger of United with Hauge's Synod.

1946-1960

The Norwegian Lutheran Church of America changed its name to the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELC)

1960-1988

The American Lutheran Church.  Created by a merger of the ELC. which was a Norwegian-American Lutheran organization with the American Lutheran Church, with roots in the German-American Lutheran community,  and United Evangelical Lutheran Church, which had been established by Danish-Americans.  The Lutheran Free Church would join this organization in 1963.

1988-Present

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Created by a merger of the ALC with the American Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church of America.
